Good reception, even without amplifier. *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 24, 2018* Nice reception in our area, even mounted in the attic and non-amplified. Try it without the provided amplifier first, then with the amplifier only if reception is not acceptable or you need to be able to rotate it for multiple transmission tower locations. I didn't need that, as all local broadcast TV is from one mountain west of our house. I ran the provided cable from attic down to basement, to a splitter/amplifier in my Leviton home run box. This allows me to switch TVs in selected rooms to the antenna instead of cable, which is really only needed in a few rooms. I was able to MacGuiver a cheap mount with a short piece of 1-1/2" grey plastic electrical conduit and a couple of pipe clamps left over from another project. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best on the market *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2017* It is easy to install, works very well and gets the full 120 miles when placed at the right height. Lightning can hit it and run in just as with other antennas. If it does hit, it will knock out the antenna.
