## Description

INADINE INADINE PVP-I Non-adherent dressing consists of a low-adherence knitted viscose fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol PEG base containing 10% povidone iodine; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine.Iodine is a highly effective topical antimicrobial that has been used clinically in the treatment of wounds for over 170 years. It has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity with effectiveness against bacteria, microbacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. How does it work The Povidone iodine molecule has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action and has been shown to be effective against MRSA3-5.INADINE minimizes adhesion to the wound bed, thereby reducing the risk of damage to granulation tissue upon removal of the dressing, and In clinical practice it has been shown to reduce pain for patients. As PVP-I is released from INADINE, the bandage will turn orange-white. The color change provides an indicator of how frequently dressings should be changed to avoid unnecessary dressing changes. This could improve cost-effectiveness in treatment. Indications INADINE is indicated to manage ulcerative wounds and may also be used for the prevention of infection in: minor burns traumatic injuries skin loss Clinical studies suggest that INADINE may also be an appropriate choice for the treatment of chronic wounds, including : Ulcers arising from different etiologies ethical foot ulcers Pressure ulcers can the outer boxes are always supplied

Review: I had a large leg wound which was refusing to heal and I was having to have daily dressing changes for over a month, my NHS nurse popped one of these onto it and the results were amazing. I purchased this pack so I could take some away with me abroad where I was unable to visit her every day and with her permission she agreed I could change it myself and care for it that week. These were perfect! Individually packed so I could make sure they were sterile and packed safely. I now keep these in my first aid kit in case of any stubborn wounds! Be careful not to touch anything before you’ve washed your hands after touching as they can stain!

I had a large leg wound which was refusing to heal and I was having to have daily dressing changes for over a month, my NHS nurse popped one of these onto it and the results were amazing.
