I was pleased that they were not overly sweet, but I have been spoiled by the great tasting mesquite honey we have out here in the West. The honey in these is not that special. Nice walnut crunch. These baklava are certainly not cheap. I would guess that a significant part of the cost is the packaging necessary to get them to you in one piece. And they are very nicely packaged.
