It absorbs quickly so there is no greasy residue feeling. And it softens. Fragrance is a personal matter and I find this one okay. (It's not over-powering and mostly dissipates quickly but it is definitely detectable if you have sensitivity to that sort of thing.) My skin feels really good!I originally rated this product a 4 rather than a 5 because I didn't find it to be a great value. The product is a fluffy, almost whipped texture. It goes on very smoothly but if you put it on your arms/legs as well as your hands, it goes relatively quickly. I thought that, for the price, there were cheaper butters. However, I find that high quality butters were selling for twice the cost of this one so I changed my rating to 5. It really is very good in terms of quality and effectiveness.Update: Just lowered my reading over concern about the ingredients in this product There are lots of them and most are not terms I'm familiar with.
