I have a TV that I use outside under my gazebo and the old cover pretty much disintegrated so I did my research and found that a 600D polyester is the good stuff (just under 1200D but that's not necessary) and will hold up to cover patio furniture, etc. No regrets or disappointments here. It's also easier to put on the TV (that I have to reach up to) than the old one. The old one was also flimsy and this one is not at all flimsy. It goes on easily. You can fold up the bottom and connect to the back with the velcro so "things" don't get inside. It has side pockets for remotes, too. Love this one.
