It’s well made pvc and it’s a very clever design which is easy to assemble and pretty sturdy. I’m happy with the purchase overall but I can’t give it 5 stars because of the hardware they provide. The hinge is so small and thin there’s no way it’s going to hold up to frequent use. I already purchased replacement hardware to switch out. The posts of this fence need to be installed 8 1/2" into the ground, which goes up past the spiked end. The posts are 7/8" x 1 1/2" which means that could fit between concrete slabs, it just depends on the distance those are spaced. I used this gate between my deck and fence to keep my dogs out of the alleyway at the side of my house. Since they are small dogs this does the job.
