## Description

The Steiner Military-Marine 7x50 is the civilian version of the legendary binoculars used by military forces worldwide. It is designed for hunters, boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts who require uncompromising durability and the ability to see clearly when lighting conditions are at their worst. Whether you are scanning a foggy coastline or tracking game in the shadows of a canyon, these binoculars deliver a vivid, high-contrast view. With Steiner’s Sports-Auto-Focus™, you can keep your eyes on the action. By removing the traditional center focus wheel, Steiner has created a more robust and simplified system that is easier to operate with heavy gloves or in high-stress situations. Once set, the depth of field is so great that everything stays in focus, allowing you to track moving objects with absolute ease. These binoculars are built for a lifetime of adventure. They are O-ring sealed and waterproof, ensuring that moisture and dust stay out of the internal optics. The rugged rubber armor protects the chassis from scratches and provides a secure grip in wet or freezing conditions. For those who need a single pair of binoculars that can do it all—from the mountain top to the open sea—the Military-Marine 7x50 is the ultimate choice.

Review: Wouldn’t change a thing! - These things are worth every penny. Chrystal clear image and very good color without much in the way of chromatic aberration. The “Auto Focus” is a bit of a misnomer as you do have to manually adjust the focus on each eye, but this allows you to set them to different focal depths and not need to mess with them much within that range of distances. It sort of tricks your brain into making the image mostly in focus within the set ranges. It’s very intuitive and easy to set on the fly. The objective lease covers seal very securely but you won’t have to wrestle them loose, and they’re captive so you can just pop them loose and they’ll hang on to the binoculars out of the way without interfering with your view. Rear caps are one piece and not the most secure, but that can be remedied with a ranger band or elastic hair tie across the bridge and they’ll be fine. Comes with a pretty awesome desert camo padded soft case and tan neck strap as well. Overall 10/10 they feel rugged and well made. Super functional and you won’t feel like you are at a loss of value.
Review: Compare these to 8X30 and 10X50 Steiner Military Marine models - I have had a pair of the Steiner 8X30 Military Marine for years and love them, they are terrific, lightweight, compact and sharp in daylight but the small objectives are not ideal for night time or astronomy viewing, you will get some ghostly halos from bright objects in the night. But if you are planning on hiking or biking with binocs then you should probably choose the compact version over these 7X50 full size ones which are twice as big and heavy. I purchased both the 7X50 and the 10X50 to compare primarily for quick viewing of the night sky in conjunction with our telescope. I chose to keep the 7X50 and returned the 10X50. There are good reasons why 7X50 is the marine standard. The 10X magnification does not make much difference, the 7X seemed noticeably clearer and is much easier to hold steady which is more important to good viewing than the magnification. The image is super sharp and bright from edge to edge of the view, IMHO it really could not be appreciably better at any price point. Unless you're going into combat or the most brutal conditions these are as good as you will ever need. We now keep these full size binocs in our RV for our general primary and astronomical use and the compact 8X30 under the seat in our towed car for our mobile expeditions. The best of all viewing worlds!

## Features

- MILITARY-GRADE MAKROLON HOUSING: Constructed from a lightweight, durable polycarbonate chassis that can withstand 11 Gs of impact. The NBR Long Life rubber armoring provides a non-slip, noise-dampening grip that is resistant to oil and harsh weather.
- SPORTS-AUTO-FOCUS TECHNOLOGY: Calibrate each eyepiece to your vision once and enjoy a razor-sharp image from 20 yards to infinity. This system eliminates the need for constant refocusing on moving targets, allowing for faster acquisition and easier one-handed use.
- SUPERIOR LOW-LIGHT PERFORMANCE: The combination of 7x magnification and large 50mm objective lenses creates a massive exit pupil. This allows the binoculars to pull in maximum light, providing bright, clear images in deep timber, heavy fog, or at dawn and dusk.
- FLOATING PRISM SYSTEM: Features a flexible silicone lens mount that absorbs severe shock and impact without losing alignment. This ensures your optics remain perfectly zeroed even after accidental drops or rough handling in the field.
- MAXIMUM IMAGE STABILITY: The 7x magnification is specifically chosen to provide a wide field of view and a steady image, even when your hands are shaking from exertion or when viewing from a moving vehicle or boat.
- STEINER HERITAGE WARRANTY: Your investment is backed by a "No Questions Asked" transferable lifetime warranty. If your binoculars are ever damaged or defective, Steiner will repair or replace them at no charge forever.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality, heavy
*by O***G on August 29, 2025*

Wanted these for a long time. Finally pulled the trigger. They are heavy but that makes viewing more stable. Not something I would want to hike a 14er with though. Astigmatic blurring at viewing edge is minimal. Great optics!
