There doesn’t seem to be much difference as far as comfort goes. So my decision is mostly because I think the mattress covers and sheets will fit better on the 10”. How many inches should I purchase?** A: For me, I wish I had some of the issues some of the people answering this question have had. I like a firm mattress. I weigh just over 300 lbs. I am a large mammal. I have the 12-inch mattress, and every night I sink into that thing like I am sleeping in jello. I find myself moving to different parts of the bed to get back some firmness. Eventually, I sink in, and then move. Repeat as necessary. We also have a skinny version of this in a twin bed size. That is firm. I will take naps on that bed to get the sleep I am missing in the King-sized 12-inch thick bed.
