This one doesn't advertise itself as using DisplayLink drivers, but whichever drivers is uses don't require finicky manual installation, and unlike another one that I purchased, trying to get a working additional adapter at a lower price, this one actually works. 2. It supports up to 1080p resolution. I'm using it to add an old 1K TV and a ViewSonic monitor (both 22") to my monitor array. The most recent purchase brought my array up to 12 screens, which I use for software development and console management in my cloud architect role at work. 3. Even with some of my other video adapters got flaky, these just worked. 4. It didn't break the budget. 5. My oldest of this device has been in service for 5 years without any issues.
