Permanent alcohol based markers (e.g. Sharpie) leave a marker line on the edge of my rulers, a MAJOR pet peeve of mine. Using alcohol works to take the marker off, but it also removes the rulers' markings, so I went in search of water based markers. These markers are wonderful and wipe off my rulers using a damp paper towel without causing damage. Bummer is that they don't wash off skin using soap and water. The storage case is very nice and opens/closes with ease. The marker colors are vibrant and while I haven't tried them all, the ones I have tried are very wet and write easily. The clicking mechanism feels sturdy and the markers themselves are comfortable to hold and write with. I bought a second box to use for notetaking for my students. The markers don't spread and they dry quickly. They last a long time as well.
