I have only used the slip on kind so far and they make a huge difference. I have a problem nerve in the ball of my foot and after walking for any length of time it will cause pain. I found these on Amazon awhile back and they really help take the pressure of the one area on the ball of my foot. This is the first time I received the cushions to put in my shoes, this should help when I can't wear the pads for they would show in certain shoes.
