The heel fits fine, but I am only able to get one pair of socks on with them. The rubber sole is a bit too 'grippy', it catches on the carpet easily which throws me off balance. I expect I'll get used to that, however. They are high-quality slippers, and I expect them to last many years. The stitching is tight and with no loose thread ends showing. They are quite warm and soft and cozy, and attractive, too. All of that being said, the fact remains that I was SENT THE WRONG SIZE!!! These are expensive slippers and that's a rookie mistake. Very warm and comfy and the liner was excellent.
