All my other underwear sits in that crease between the leg and the torso and felt like it was digging in to the front of my hip joint. I have worn other Jockey styles for years and so decided to try this one. It definitely avoids that crease, so I have been pleased with that. No more digging underwear away from my hip joint. I admit I'm not fond of the look of the high waist band, but it works for me since most of my pants sit high (I have a long torso, so low and mid rise pants are out for me). The amusing finding for me was that with this high waistband (it sits a bit under my belly button), the pants which notoriously slip down all day long no longer slip!
