It's in our kitchen's "junk" drawer and is sort of useful for that purpose, but the individual compartments are mostly too small to hold what I wanted them to.Also, the "natural" wood finish means it's raw wood, not smoothly sanded, complete with splinters. Fully expanded (there are multiple slide out settings so this organizer will fit in multiple size drawers), it fit with room to spare. It is not specifically made for the dimensions of my drawer so there is extra room on the sides. However, I use that room as another storage "compartment" so it all works out.The build of this organizer is great. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
