The included case supplied by Lenovo is enormous; it takes up the room of a 16" laptop in my bag so I wanted a case much closer to the size of the device. This case fits the bill for me. It sized perfectly for the 9i 2-in-1. It's soft on the inside and the outside fabric feels sturdy, plus the blue case color is a good match for my 9i's Cosmic Blue color. The included Lenovo Slim Pen, which the included Lenovo case puts on the outside of their case, fits either in the outside pocket of this case OR placed into the little branded loop on the side of the inside area (in my experience the length of the pen prevents it from tossing around inside). I use the external pocket for limited essentials rather than the charger/cable just because of where in my backpack I place this case when transporting; the charger/cable will fit with no issues, I just prefer to keep all my chargers and cables in a different place in my backpack. To me this case is a fantastic value for the money. I am considering buying another to have as a spare just because when you travel enough, stuff happens. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fits like a glove! *by C***B on July 6, 2019* I've had quite the trouble finding a laptop case that fits my computer (17.5" screen), so I'm glad I bought this case when I found it! I was initially concerned that, as it was advertised as a 17" sleeve, it wouldn't fit - nope! Fits nice and snug, but not so tight as to create problems getting it in and out.Can't attest to waterproof capabilities (I'm not willing to risk that, lol), but I've been taking it to class with me, and it's proven sturdy and lightweight. Has an additional pocket on the side for more storage (I put the charging cable in there, myself), with three smaller, longways pockets on the side of it. Can't recommend putting a flash drive in there (I had trouble getting mine out after; my fingers were a little too big), but pencils work well.The inner padding is soft and effectively prevents scratching on my laptop. I will say that it's very warm in there, though, so I have to make sure my computer is shut down or hibernating before packing up, or it risks overheating (sleep mode is usually ok if all programs are closed first).Excellent product.
