Was very easy to apply from the tube and the grease seems like a good consistency that will keep the gears lubricated for several more years of use. Once I got the grease to penetrate into the locked up area, the can opener became functional. A couple more times of pushing the product into and on the handle post, the can opener was fully functional and handle easily turned. Product worked just as advertised. Very pleased with results. Will use the product on other food appliances (blenders, food processor, etc.
