I am not sure where the bad reviews are coming from - maybe they got some old or improperly stored ones?- because these are for sure supple and sturdy. Also bigger than the usual rubber bands you find at the pharmacy. My kid is very active and these hold all day without pulling hairs and bothering her. None have broken on me and I use these daily. The Goody brand from CVS snap all the time and would often just pop randomly for no reason.
