When I got them in November I loved them. They are by far the warmest gloves I've ever owned (warmer than normal merino wool gloves), despite being very thin and lightweight. In that sense, they're as advertised.Unfortunately, after only about 2 months, one finger developed a hole. I figured that might be a one-off. Then within another two weeks, another finger developed a threadbare spot that become another hole. Now that's happened with a thumb, as well. That's three holes in as many months. For gloves that cost almost $40, it's very disappointing and a bit upsetting.For context, it's not like I do hard labor in these gloves or anything other than just wear them to and from work, when I go out to get groceries, and things like that -- all what I would call very normal use.I've tried writing to their customer service (twice), and haven't gotten any response. I'm giving the gloves two stars because they are warm, but at this rate I don't see myself being able to keep up with the repairs that will be required to keep using them. Maybe they just make them too thin, but it's crazy to have holes develop like this. No hat. No scarf. ONLY GLOVES. I would have not have purchased if I had realized that. Unfortunately it was a gift to a relative in another state so I can't return it. Don't make the same mistake I did.
