I attend a lot of concerts and I got tired of ruining my pricier wigs so I thought I’d give desertcart a shot and I’m not disappointed. This wig is amazing! It does have a lot of permatease around the cap - especially on top and there’s no lace/faux scalp, but I prefer that for what I’m wearing them for. If you work with it a little, it can look pretty natural. That being said, I didn’t have to do much with this one. When I received it, I flipped it upside down, grabbed it from the nape on the cap and gave it a good shake to loosen the fibers. I also trimmed about 5 inches off the bottom. Didn’t bother to thin it out because I like volume. To store, I hang it upside down from a clip attached to a hanger…real fancy like…lol. I also use a small amount of cyclomethicone (you can buy it on desertcart) in a spray bottle as a detangler, which also protects the fibers when I wear it, but mostly only on the nape and underside of the wig fibers (the long strands) so friction from clothing and dancing/head banging doesnt ruin the wig. Oh! Wide tooth combs are super useful as well. I don’t touch my wigs with anything else. I use Defy Deconstruct pomade to handle the fly away (just a tiny amount is enough. Forgot to mention, this wig isn’t super shiny like most inexpensive wigs I’ve used. I didn’t even have to spray it with dry shampoo. Also, the color is super impressive. It’s a duskier lavender underneath, but the top has more of a silvery platinum lavender. Really pretty! In certain light, it can look more white than lavender, but I love that! I’m attaching to photos that show the color differences in lighting. I’ve worn this to 3 concerts, a few outdoors in 100+ degree heat and for nights out and it’s still in super great shape!
