My dog was able to wear this costume much longer than other costumes over the years; he didn't overheat in it. I ordered a size 3 for my 20 lb Boston Terrier and it was a little too short for his height, i could see his feet, and when he would put his head up the Panda head would fold back. I reordered the size 4 which fit his height much better, the head piece was a little big, but it has an elastic adjustment, so i was able to snug it up and make it work. I would highly recommend this costume, it's easy to put on.
