By the time The Bancha harvest begins the smoother-tasting polyphenols in the leaves have been replaced by harsher ones, and the leaves have lost amino acids that create sweetness and body.

Wonderful full bodied tea. It needs to be used with an infuser or strained. It is not in individual bags so you can adjust amount to your liking. Very good product. You won’t be disappointed.
