You have to take 15 minutes at least befor you eat. It works best to even have a empty stomach for a hour or more even. Every once in a while might have to do 4 at one time then go back to 1 morning and nite. The upset stomach gets less and less till no more. Do not let the reviews stop you on that. I have been on 1 in morning and nite for ever. Works fantastic. Just ordered 3 more bottles so that should tell you how I feel. Hope this helps. Update: I have been down to one at nite and morning. Start with 2 and if that doesn't work, increase the amount every day. I got to 5 pills before things happened but after that was able to reduce down to one pill/day. The seller used to ship free under Amazon prime but now charges too much for shipping even if you have Amazon Prime.
