Gets so hot is shuts down charger
The spring loaded clip for the vent vanes is 5 stars. However, there are other faults that downgrade my vote to 3 stars. First is the ball joint - even thought it is as tight as I can make it, it doesn't hold the phone in position and I'm constantly readjusting. Second and by far the worst, even though it does a fast charge, it can't keep up with the phone when I'm using GPS. It also gets so hot, the protection circuits kick in and shut down the charger.

Really good design for vent mounted but didn't fit my vents.
This design doesn't work for the vents in my gmc savana, unfortunately. So I took it apart and attached the ball to a blank (option switch) cover. It looks like factory installed, my wireless charger doesn't rattle at all! No more stupid suction style mount flying around my work truck.

Save your money and buy something different
After a week of use, I cannot recommend this mount. First, the clip that mounts to the vent is garbage. I borrowed the clip from my previous mount and it fixed the problem. For the price they charge for this it should work better. Second, the side clips that hold the phone in place broke after 5 days. I can manually force them to open and close but the little button on the back doesn't work any longer. Third, the charger doesn't work with a popsocket on the back of my phone and the phone doesn't sit securely in the cradle. I have 2 other QI chargers that work with the popsocket. My previous mount works just fine with a popsocket. Seems like an issue with this product only.Bottom line--a very cheaply made product that doesn't work. I do not recommend it.

swivel clamp doesn't grip, easy use, eliminates phone connector wear
Had to put a rubber washer between the body and the plastic nut on the swivel. Vent connector is kind of thin as others noted but I have not had breakage others reported. Located in AZ so still waiting to see if the heat and sun are an issue as stated in the listing.

Looks nice. Stays charging on a bumpy road
Comes with a cable but no charger. Bought a cheap one to make the set up complete. Sits on here a charm in my Audi A4. Charges as advertised. Looks nice. Stays charging on a bumpy road. Couldn't ask for more for the price. I did change the cable because I wanted to tuck it where it couldn't be seen and needed it longer, but yep, good solid charger.

Not the best for sure
Doesn't sit well with my car vents (Volvo S60), doesn't hold the phone well either. Certainly they could have included another option or two for vent mount, I've had others in past that worked fine. This is pretty useless to me and unfortunately I waited way too long to install and can't return. I'm sure with some cars it works, but I can say with certainty it doesn't with mine.

Bad grip
It does charge your phone and doesn't make noise (like some wireless chargers) but the spring action to hold the phone in place isn't easy to use and, more importantly, doesn't last. It's strength is completely gone and I've only had it a few months. Now my phone just sits there but if I made a hard turn in my car it would fall off. For this reason, I can't recommend it.

Great product!
This product worked as advertised, at first I had a little issue setting it up, but in the end changes my note 8 no issue even with a case and my wife iPhone 8. Great product good job
