Cleaned rust off and then covered 12"x 6" opening with this tape. I bought it because it said Racer's Tape meaning when race cars are damaged, they might put this tape on to keep it going. I was worried about the tape coming off at high speeds in cold weather because I did not put any backing behind the tape. But drove 60 MPH with this tape and it stayed intact.
