Ich war etwas erstaunt, als ich in einem Forum las, dass der HD 598 durch Kabelwechsel an einem balanced Output betrieben werden kann - aber ja, es klappt. Ob das jetzt besser klingt als mit einem nicht-balancierten Kabel, kann ich natürlich nicht sagen. Ehrlichgesagt halte ich es für Audiophilen-Voodoo. Auf jeden Fall klingt der Kopfhörer in dieser Kombination sehr gut und liefert ein sehr detailliertes räumliche Hörergebnis.
