I used it for 6 months to express and the power and suction was still as powerful the last day I used it. Being a double breast pump, it was quicker than expressing one breast at a time. It is also relatively quiet. There is a hum as it works, but it isn't overly loud. I found that the battery life wasn't as long as they state.
