The BLACK DIAMOND Storm 500-R is a rechargeable, waterproof LED headlamp delivering up to 500 lumens with advanced PowerTap technology and multiple lighting modes. Featuring a durable IP67-rated housing, a sustainable recycled fabric headband, and a high-capacity 2400mAh lithium-ion battery with USB charging, it’s engineered for professional-grade outdoor performance in hiking, running, climbing, and work scenarios.

## Description

Designed with 500 lumens for epic adventures, the Storm 500 features a durable water and dustproof housing. The Storm 500 R is powered by our BD 2400 lithium-ion battery, which is charged via a micro USB port, and features a sustainably manufactured elastic headband with recycled fabric content from Repreve. The compact housing has an ergonomic shape. The two-button control allows easy selection of modes. In addition, the revised optical efficiency not only ensures brighter light, but also saves battery life, which can now be tracked with a battery power meter (3 LEDs) for six settings. The Storm 500 R also has three different night vision modes as well as white light for close range, e.g. B. for sorting equipment before the last rope length. Memory mode stores the desired brightness setting for the next power on. The Storm 500 R's PowerTap technology allows for even faster brightness adjustment by tapping the touch-sensitive housing.

Review: I'm very pleased with this light. It provides a number of useful options for lighting from spotlight to wide light, bright and dim and adjustable in between. There are two buttons which select between lighting modes...long press and short presses provide the modes. I only have two complaints...it does not tilt downward very far. This is somewhat made up for using the wide area mode but not useful when trying to use the spotlight. My other complaint is the 2nd press button...the smaller and slightly recessed button next to the larger more tactile primary button. It's difficult to tell when I have my finger on the smaller recessed button and often find I take the headlamp off to look at where the button is to be sure I know where to find it. Overall, it's a great quality headlamp and would certainly recommend. I love the USB rechargeable feature and overall value of this light with the features it has.

登山用に購入しました。メーカー的にも光量的にも申し分なく、かなりのハイスペックで満足してたのですが、試めしに装着し実際に点灯したところ、点灯状態にも関わらず2個LEDが1個消灯したり、点灯したりを繰り返します。商品は非常に良いのに残念ですが返品させていただきました。
