This carrier has held up weight wise, up to around 30lbs. Which most say would be too much weight. So I am happy with that. After about a few weeks, and using it about 7-8 times for an hour or so each time, the velcro pieces started to fail to velcro closed enough to stay. I tried taking the fur out of them to see if they would stay closed after that, but no dice. Since then I have tried to put a 15lb. dog in it and the velcro won't stay together at all. This product would have gotten 5 stars from me if there were clips in place of the velcro.
