**Q: What is lightfastness scale used for these paints? And what is ratio of pigment to binder and is there any filler? Answer only if you know please.**
A: There is a lightfastness rating on the color card, please refer to the color card for details

**Q: It says these are alkyd so does that mean mix with water it doesnt say that in description**
A: These do NOT mix with water, only with oil or mineral spirits. The binder is made up of alkyd resin (plus a bit of oil?), which is the same stuff that's in the oil-painting mediums like Galkyd and Liquin that artists add to regular oil paint to make it dry faster.

**Q: How long until the colors fade? How lightfast?**
A: I haven't tested these personally, but all of the research I've done on fluorescent paints says they are NOT lightfast. According to Golden Paint, you can reduce fading by varnishing (or double varnishing) your finished painting with mineral spirits varnish, but there is no guaranteed way to prevent fading. (This is one reason I'm having second thoughts about using these.)

A: The binder in the oil painting is linseed oil.
