I had it for a few years, kept it cleaned with mild soap in warm water every few months or so. I do believe this brush contributed to my hair growing with the massage of the bristles. It is not too small or too big of a brush which made it comfortable to keep. After a few years the bristles kept in tact which was a major relief. Having thick hair when you use your brush you experience bristles breaking off when trying to remove tangles. Thankful that was not a problem with this set. It was gentle on my hair when removing tangles which is so important for length retention overall a well deserved review.
