The Scoozy-500 operates via throttle & cruise assist and the direct drive motor does have noticeable drag but offers a much smoother and quieter ride. Comfort through Quality: Improved ride quality is achieved through high quality components including a 4130 chromoly steel frame, ergonomic grips, and an ergonomic saddle. Powerful and Efficient: The Scoozy 500 is the perfect commuting option that takes advantage of the lenient e-bike laws in the US. No license, registration, or insurance required. Simple Charging: The spring loaded battery can be easily removed for charging indoors at home or at work in 3-5 hours with the included charger.
