The anti-slip ribbed channels do a decent job, and the protectors are reusable, which is a plus. However, they would have been perfect if there were grooves or holes on each side to allow the strap to pass through. Without these, the protectors tend to slip and fall off during use, which can be frustrating. I found it strange that when i opened the box it was a bunch of pieces just tossed in the box. I have never see an item not in a sealed bag or something. I started counting and was short 4 pieces.
