I have a couple of lights already with 7 LED bulbs. I figured they used the same 4 x 18650 Li-Ion batteries so overall brightness would be similar. I was wrong. this one is much brighter. in fact the lower setting was about the same brightness as the high powered setting of my older ones. I also like the white light vs slightly yellowed light from the others. It has 2 options of brightness. First click is full brightness and second click is lower but still super bright. If you hold the power button there is a strobe light effect in either brightness. The power button also turn red when the flashlight is on.
