My daughter did say however that the scars became itchy whilst the strips were on but bearable and l have read a note saying that it can take up to three months of use before anything noticeable occurs my daughter has only used the strips for a month. Be careful not to get it in the eyes, otherwise no problem. **Q: Can you use this with a moisturising cream such as e45? Just been discharged from burns clinic after 2nd degree from boiling water.** A: No I do not think you can use it with a moisturising cream. When we tried using it following a facial operation leaving 3 scars, it was found to be sticky and did not dry up as stated on their publication. so was not used. **Q: Does this work for chicken pox scars? Can i apply it on under 5 year olds?** A: If I am honest it hasn't worked for me , despite using it religiously as directed. Overall a good quality scar treatment that does exactly what it’s meant to do. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent product but expensive and hard to dispense *by A***R on 29 March 2026* I was recommended to use scar gel by my surgeon to aid scar healing and I purchased this one based on other reviews about it's efficacy. It seems to be doing a good job but I've only given it 4 stars because it is very expensive and quite hard to dispense from the little tube and apply the right amount. When the tube is partly used, it's hard to get the right level of "squeeze" to ensure you have enough product but not too much. You also have to be careful how much product you apply on your skin. If you put too much on, it doesn't dry.
