This is usually measured in microns or micrometers (mils). Thank you.** A: Using an old sample from about 4 years ago, I measure approx 40 microns (0.04 mm +/- 0.01). At least double normal "superstrong" foil **Q: why is 3 boxes dearer when if you buy one at a time** A: I can only think its to do with the postage costs it must take to a higher bracket these are quite heavy 3 would be really heavy **Q: Hi, does this foil have a ‘non-stick’ side please? Thank you.** A: I have not found anything that sticks to this foil - but there is not a non stick side. Even at £30 a roll it's good value for money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty foil *by A***N on 14 February 2026* Excellent quality and definitely heavy duty. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough and well made *by Y***J on 10 August 2022* It is a lot thicker than average foil, it is proper catering foil and perfect for roasting and sealing in flavours for meat and vegetable be it roasts, barbecue, hot marinading, grilling, steeping etc. Good for lining and if you upcycle it good for rust removal or as an abrasive afterwards. Plus its aluminium and perfectly recyclable as being thick its easily rinsed off prior to upcycle/disposal. Totally unlike thin stuff that sticks to things and tears if you breath on it.
