Instant success and it has not missed a beat since then. I purchased this mouse because I have recently moved to windows 10and my old mouse was reluctant to work with the new system ( it kept freezing up and generally not playing ball ) The Trust Evo laser mousehowever, has so far worked on every surface that I have tried it on and that includes a mirror !The mouse itself ; Is a very good looking astheticly pleasing object finished in matt black and silver lots of buttons which I believe are programmable via windows (as yet I have not done this yet as they are fine as they are ) there is also a set of three lights which show battery condition apparently I should'nt need them for about a year. The scroll wheel has a very good feel about it, and I prefer it on the middle settingfor the dpi although gamers may prefer it set on the higher dpi. I find the dedicated windows button to very useful although not totally necessary.The underside of the mouse to be honest looks a bit cheap, But how often do you want to look underneath?The mouse is a good size , if you have normal / large hands, I personally have very large hands so I cannot grip it the way it is meant to be, but I still prefer it over a lot of other rodents, Me ,,, Yes I do recommend it!.Update;... I have now had this mouse for quite a few years the batteries seem to last forever ( not a bad thing ) It is still as comfortable as it has always been, and has never missed a beat. IF I ever have to replace it I would definitely buy another one exactly the same !!And because of all of this I have even decided to add another star to make it 5. because I do believe it's worth it.October 2022, Still going strong and feeling good, I don't recall it ever letting me down. Been using the mouse for 6 months and the left button had become very sticky in its action, meaning double click actions were extremely difficult. After a great deal of difficulty managed to contact Amazon customer services who have sent out a new mouse and I have returned the old one. The new mouse and packaging look identical, but the feel and operation of this mouse is much different to the old one. The click of the left button is much more precise and the action of the scroll wheel is much smoother than the old one ever was.Hopefully this new mouse will last longer than the original one.My only other comment would be is that if you have a small hand this may not be the mouse for you.
