I would not suggest these colors for a teenager or for some "professional" face painting. They are very thick and matt looking, also some colors are very light on pale skin (like the white color or yellow). However for some easy face paining on a young kid they look great. I bought this for a 4 years old birthday party. She spent the day with a simple pink and blue butterfly around her eyes. It lasted all afternoon.
