I just received the product so here is a real review of this film. first of all the picture quality and sound are great for an old film so it deserves to be in your collection. much better picture than the dvd picture plus u get the trailer and an exclusive feature. 18 minutes interview of people involved with the film like the lead actress of the film who u can see her now at an older age talking about her experience with Christopher lee and how seriously lee take his role as a Dracula. now lee is THE REAL DRACULA of all time. he made 7 films with hammer and this is my fav film of all hammer films as it was the first that I ever watched as a kid and it stucked in my mind. this film is perfect. it had the most gore of them all the greatest klove of all time sex scenes and violence. if u are a fanatic hammer Dracula fan then u will get this blu ray in to your collection. GRADE // A Review: Great Looking Dracula ! - I must say that the bright colour on this Blu Ray really is excellent when you consider that it was made in 1970 ,51 years ago. Indeed some more modern films don't look this good. Of course if you are looking to be really scared this Hammer Horror probably won't do that. However this is a great fun way to spend an hour and a half, with some quite gory bits included. Patrick Troughton plays a great part as Klove ,Dracula's evil side kick and you also see a very young Dennis Waterman and the eye candy is Jenny Hanley whose cleavage is shown a lot ,you even see her naked bottom ! Christopher Lee does what is required but has very few lines to learn ,but he certainly looks very evil and has the blood shot eyes to stare you down. Indeed there are two very violent scenes in the film that take you a bit by surprise. I am a big Hammer fan and this is very good addition to my collection. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dracula has risen from the grave (again) *by D***Y on 18 March 2018* One of Hammer’s lesser-known Dracula tales which is loosely connected to their previous instalments. With Christopher Lee once again as the Count, you can at least be assured of a convincing display from this version of the Prince of Darkness. Jenny Hanley and Dennis Waterman prove able in the roles of the privileged young adults innocently drawn into Dracula’s realm of terror - which is Hammer’s typically-vague East European village setting, populated by nervy, superstitious locals whose eyeballs go into overdrive whenever a ‘stranger’ mentions the castle. Yes it is a tried-and-tested format full of stereotypical characters, but that by no means mars the viewers’ enjoyment. There are a few low points; the patently-wobbly rubber knife (how did this get past the editing team?) in one scene where Dracula bafflingly decides to destroy a female vampire by stabbing her to (un)death, the over-used fishing rod-controlled gliding bats, and the unconvincing outing by Michael Gwynn as the priest, whose acting is as wooden as the stakes.
