Review: Good item - Speeds up the job
Review: Does the job but be careful - With recent renovating in the house, wanted to give this a go. Its not to bad but you can only do a part at a time and then have to wipe down the shield per use. What I mean for example is that I had to paint above out skirting boards. Using this shield, I thought you could do a continuous run however found out that eventually the paint seeps underneath the shield and will make a mess. So I found in the end that it was easier having to do one small run with the length of the shield at a time and then wipe off the excess. Found that this was actually taking longer to paint and thought that masking would still have been quicker in the end. Plus I think the base line is too thick and should be a similar thickness to a jointing/taping plastering knife (longer ones) as these are very thin at the bottom thus better for example when I then needed to paint the top of the skirting. Don't get me wrong, I think for small jobs this is a good product to use but for bigger jobs, easier and quicker just to get masking done.

Speeds up the job
