I think the manufacturer would say to avoid the nails in their instructions if it was likely to cause a problem. **Q: is this vegan ?** A: There’s nothing on the tube that says so, no. **Q: Hi i just bought this cream. do i need to wash my hands after use. many thanks** A: No, don't wash your hands. Let it seep into your skin. It is a concentrated cream so it will need to be rubbed in gently. I apply before bed, that gives it time to soak in for maximum benefit. **Q: Will this cure and prevent bad hacks on my hands ? Tia** A: I really. Oils to say as I don't have hacks. I find this is an excellent hand team but when my hands get day and sometimes red and stingy in the winter time this is very good. However I would also use Aloe Vera to cure the stinging. I use this Neutrongena every night when I'm going to bed to help keep my cuticles in good condition. It’s a no nonsense product that really works. There is no fancy scent which I like as too much perfume rubs off on anything you touch normally. It looks like petroleum jelly but sinks beautifully into the skin and a little goes a long way. I get very dry hands and have tried very expensive to very cheap hand creams but this one is by far the best I’ve ever used and the price is exceptional.
