They do exactly that — they’re much slimmer, so you can fit noticeably more clothes in compared to wooden hangers. Overall quality is good for everyday use, but there is one limitation worth noting: if you hang more than one item on a single hanger, the plastic can warp and eventually snap, sometimes quite suddenly. Because of that, they’re best used for one garment per hanger only. As long as you use them that way, they’re a good space-saving option.
