When you are boring, please swing it, time goes by. When you need to calm down, please swing it, you will be in peace. When you are suffering from insomnia, please swing it, you will fall asleep soon. When you want to have a break from study or work, please swing it, you will be relaxed. Brief introduction: Newton's cradle, named after English 17th century scientist Isaac Newton, is a device that demonstrates conservation of momentum and energy using a series of swinging spheres. When one sphere at the end is lifted and released, it strikes the stationary spheres; a force is transmitted through the stationary spheres and pushes the last sphere upward. The device is also known as Newton's balls or Executive Ball Clicker. Physical principles Based on the law of conservation of momentum and energy conservation, due to resistance reason, newton's cradle will not swing forever. Usually, when under normal circumstances, the balls will swing about 15 seconds. But because different force and environment, the swing time will be different. Specifications: Size: 5.5x5.1x4.4 in Material: Solid wood+Stainless steel balls & structure Occasions: Daily use, Education supplies, Psychotherapy, Birthday present, Business gift Package: 1x Frame with 5 balls 1x Wooden Base Warm Prompt: When you use this newton’s cradle, please move it in a horizontal line, so the lines will not be tangled. It’s ok
I had same sort of thing years ago. For some reason this does not work properly. I think the ball bearings are not the same weight or out of shape a tiny bit. So it does not click side to side properly but for 5 pounds you get what you pay for I suppose.

So disappointed when this arrived
So disappointed when this arrived, although the frame was sturdy the wires attaching the balls were tied together so tight I was unable to separate them without breaking it. Now in the bin.

Don’t buy
Poor quality, the 4 legs that sit in the base don’t fit properly hence it keeps falling over, the balls then get knotted up. This was a Xmas present for my autistic son, whom is extremely disappointed and does not understand why it doesn’t work.

Simple physics
The U frames push in, but seem to be sturdy, a nice simple Physic demo

Solid Base but Filmsy Wires
The base is solid wood but transparent wires aren’t strong. So be careful when play when you try to swing balls. Mine was damaged but return was smooth.
