Whilst I hope that some day I will once again go for the genuine article, at this time in my life the ease and convenience of a plastic one that does the job wins out. But I have always missed one important element. The smell of a real tree. That scent of pine you'll catch when entering the room, or walking past the tree that is obviously not present with an artificial one. These here are the answer. I stumbled upon them quite by accident but i'm glad I did, and that I decided to try them. I was expecting at best it would be a very artificial pine scent. Fortunately, I was wrong. It's the closest to a natural pine smell you'll get that isn't from a real pine tree. I've just been adding one to the tree each week (about a week is optimum), and now I have that lovely natural pine scent when I go near the tree or enter the room that i've been missing since I was a kid. The nostalgia is strong, and these are recommended.

**Q: How many do you get in a pack**
A: 6 but they smell quite strong so I use a couple and a pack lasts me 2 years for my room with my tree in.

A: The Winter Fir Scent Stick are meant to smell like Christmas but the scent is questionable...

**Q: The little plastic pack with the hooks in seems to be where all the fragrance oil is. Do I open that & put it back in the bottle to scent the sticks?**
A: No. The sticks already have the scent absorbed on them. 
Keep the lid on tight after removing a stick to save the scent on the others.

**Q: How can i best preserve the sticks to use christmas 2018?**
A: I would say these are for this xmas personally i would buy fresh for 2018

Smells very strong - have only used one stick and it is plenty for a small living room. I think one tub is going to last multiple Christmases. I wouldn’t say it was a natural tree smell - definitely smells a bit like toilet cleaner (but nicer!) so I’m hoping that will mellow a bit over time. It’s doing the job of masking the slightly dusty plastic smell of my artificial tree, which is what I wanted.
