If not why not?** A: No, NOT edible! It has acrylites in it, which are PLASTIC polymers. If your using this gel as a treatment/ conditioner to be washed out it should be ok, as a leave in no. This aloe gel is excellent for skin. I swear by it I have been using this for years as a night mask before bed. rub a generous amount on my face let it dry.
