These Jars from Weck offer fantastic quality and value for money. They are perfect for preserving a whole host of foods and also can be used for juices and sauces, pickles or Chutneys. Weck jars are great value and will last a long time - Stylish in design.

Review: The best jars. Ever - Weck make fantastic jars, and these are a great size. Useful for pickles, sauerkraut and other preserves. They’re tough, heat resistant, chip resistant……and very handsome when you have a shelf full of them.
Review: Really good quality, practical size. - I use these for making sauerkraut and storing bone broths. They work really well for both use cases - for sauerkraut I don't use the rubber seals (you buy those separately) and I press down the lids with the metal clips (also bought separately). This enables the jars to burp, but keeps a good seal. About 700g of cabbage fits in each jar. For storing bone broth (or anything else you want in an airtight container) I really like the approach Weck take: add a rubber seal, use the metal clips and the jar will seal with the lid. They're also really easy to clean, and I believe they're made of non-toxic materials. I bought 6 originally but they've been so useful I've bought more since.

Weck make fantastic jars, and these are a great size. Useful for pickles, sauerkraut and other preserves. They’re tough, heat resistant, chip resistant……and very handsome when you have a shelf full of them.

I use these for making sauerkraut and storing bone broths. They work really well for both use cases - for sauerkraut I don't use the rubber seals (you buy those separately) and I press down the lids with the metal clips (also bought separately).
