Heavy, solid, doesn't feel cheap or anything. It's pretty much EXACTLY what I wanted when I came searching for a training knife. I had a little trouble opening it at first; you need to squeeze the two handles pretty hard together to release the latch. Never had one of these knives before so I had to look at the videos on here to check if squeezing it was the right way to do it. It was a matter of a day and a half when the "bite handle" started getting a bit stiff for me and not moving very loosely. But that's a totally normal thing for these knives; I bought some metal lubricant and in 2 hours after applying it it was working just like new.
