Samsung Universal Vehicle Dock for 4.0-5.7-Inch Smartphones Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S4/S5 and Galaxy Note 3 - Black

I've been using this mount since 2010 and love it. Great build quality and will never fall off if installed properly. It's such a shame that it appears to have been discontinued though.

After discovering that not only does the satnav in my car not accept postcodes, but it also did not recognise the name of the village I was trying to get to or it's nearest town, I ended up using google maps on my phone (Galaxy S5) to navigate. However, with nowhere specific to put the phone in my car, it was sliding around on my passenger seat which made it very difficult to look at the screen. I reached my destination and determined to buy a dock. This one is perfect for my needs. I have a flip cover that replaces the original phone back, so I didn't want to have to remove it to fit the phone in a dock. Because this dock has arms that squeeze in and out around the phone it is very accomodating and grips my phone with the case flipped open with no trouble at all, and very firmly. And the charging socket is left accessible as well which is important given how much battery power google maps uses. The dock remained stuck to my windscreen during a 2.5 hour journey at the weekend with no threat of falling off (something I have experienced with traditional satnav docks) and with the screen well positioned for visibility.

I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy A3 and it works fine. It attaches to the windscreen very securely. It is easy to put the phone in to it. It holds the phone securely in place even if the clamp is not completely tight. It is easy to take the phone out. It detaches from the windscreen easily when I have finished.I use the phone for navigation. I was hoping I would also be able to use the phone to take videos of my journeys but unfortunately all I get is a picture of the clamp! This was not the primary reason I bought the clamp though so I was not that concerned. I might even by able to rectify this if I put something between the phone and the bottom support. I am still thinking about that.

I bought one back in 2016, which I still use now in 2019.... back then I think I had a S4/S6 so it fit nicely with the bottom grips not blocking the charge/headphone jack... Just purchased a second one today for my partner's S9, as she keeps stealing mine!I now use a S8, which the charge socket fits nicely in the middle again, however the headphone socket on the left is now slightly blocked by the bottom grip... but because the side grips are adjustable, it is easy to use both connections with newer models.I haven't experienced the suction failing, or the phone dropping, pretty solid... and with the simple design it isn't too much, because you don't want to create blind spots whilst driving. Primarily use this to turn my phone into a Satnav.I cant see any newer models that cater for the newer phone models...

This genuine Samsung cradle does the job & has fairly good build quality. There is however some vibration whilst driving in both portrait and landscape modes.The biggest concern I have with all suction mount cradles is they are all prone from time to time to falling off the windscreen. Whilst they all tend to work on a vacuum type system this has the inherent drawback of being prone to failure due to temperature changes, inevitable in a car environment.The consequences of this are obvious, your lovely shiny, expensive phone could get smashed are damaged when it falls! Not ideal.I've kept the cradle but would prefer a more professional stable system. Not everyone is as fussy as me and i can see why so many reviewers are happy with the product.Recommended but with some reservations.

I bought this dock to hold my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 while driving. It is excellent and I strongly recommend it. It holds the device solidly without shake or wobble and can be rotated portrait or landscape and adjusted easily. The side jaws expand and contract to clamp the phone firmly. They are large enough to accommodate a flip cover or slim protective case. The bottom jaw has a gap to insert a MicroUSB2 or larger MicroUSB3 charging cable (but the cable and charger do NOT come with the dock). The jaws and supports all have soft rubber padding. Don't waste time on unbranded or cheaper docks - I tried two before this, both were wobbly and difficult to install or remove the phone. This Samsung one, although more expensive, is rock solid, and the Note 3 clips on and off effortlessly.

Excellent - Solid build feel but easy to use. Does what it advertises but very well to a decent price.I prefer dashboard mount so stuck their solid flat disc to slightly curved dashboard - Be warned disc is permanently stuck! - But not a concern to me.Solid sturdy grip whether ive used it on dashboard disc or windscreen and seals easily and well, press hold firmly and life switch to gain extra suction to lock in place. dozens journeys never come lose.Grip is easily adjustable insert phone, slide grips until rubber pads hold firm no wobble. Click to release.After past poor experiences with cheap poor quality docks - very happy with this and cant fault, and 9 months on only regret is not buying it sooner!

Meiner Meinung nach die beste Smartphone-Halterung die es momentan gibt!Andere Halterungen sind aus dünnem Kunststoff und wackeln während der Fahrt, die von Samsung nicht.Außerdem ist der Saugnapf aus einem beständigen Gummi, weshalb sich die Halterung auch nach Jahren der Benutzung nicht vom Glas löst, an dem es befestigt ist. Dies ist wichtig, denn das herunterfallen eines solchen Gegenstandes ist nicht nur nervig, sondern auch hochgradig gefährlich (wichtig ist nur: wenn man die Halterung nicht benutzt, sollte man diese vom Fenster entfernen. Ansonsten leiert das Gummi des Saugnapfes aus und wird Tagsüber von der Sonneneinstrahlung geschädigt. Egal wie gut die Qualität des Produkts ist, diese Faktoren machen das Gerät sonst auf die Dauer unbenutzbar).Wir haben die Halterung in jedem unserer Autos und haben auch schon welche wegen des guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in unserem Umfeld verschenkt.+ Gute Verarbeitung, sehr dicker Kunststoff!+ Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis+ Und das beste: Tut, was es soll! I have messed about with cheaper aftermarket suction mounts and vent mounts, but have inevitably ended up throwing them out after a few months of unsatisfactory service. This OEM Samsung mount is far superior - the window mount is rock solid, and the holder keeps a firm grip on my relatively large and heavy Galaxy Note 5 phone. This is the second mount I have purchased (the first, now five years old, is still in service in my other vehicle). It would have gotten 5 stars if it was about ten bucks cheaper!

Suction is great. Although a few times they have fallen off the window. Besides that they work.

This is a very sturdy dock for my Samsung Galaxy NOTE 5. I positioned easily in place in the lower corner of my windshield to the left of my steering wheel where it is both handy and out of the way for ease of viewing the road. It is very easy to slip my phone in and out with one simple movement each time. To insert phone, just sit the phone on the ledge and squeeze the outer clasps closed like a vise. To remove, just press the button at the back and the sides open up again--voila! I really like it! Nice, simple and elegant design, too!
