My lower (fat pouch) stomach hangs a little low... this doesn't stay under it to hold it up so it kind of defeats the purpose. So much so, that it was painful to walk, sit too long, put pants or shoes on. After 1 week of wearing this, the pain was significantly improved. The elastic and velcro on this provide for a wide range of sizes (I am typically a 2X-3X plus size) and the materials were good quality.
