Night Vision Glasses
Buying these glasses was the last chance before I gave up driving at night. As I have a small, low car, travelling along narrow, winding, dark country roads meant I was constantly being blinded by larger vehicles with extremely bright headlights, notwithstanding the bright blinding light from tailgaters. I felt that to drive at night was becoming too dangerous. Having read the reviews for this type of glasses I was not sure whether they would be suitable for my needs, but was prepared to give them a go due to the very reasonable price. I'm so glad I bought them because they make a huge difference. The oncoming headlights are still bright, some of them unacceptably so, but they just take the edge off the brightness, resulting in being able to driver more safely. If you are unsure whether to give them a go, I'd say "go for it". You may find they are not suitable for you, but the price makes it worth a try. And if like me you find them of benefit, they may just save your life.

the case was soft and packed in an envelope, ...
the case was soft and packed in an envelope, as a result the glasses were bent. didn't have time to send them back so tried to straighten them. the glasses themselves work well dimming the lights from other cars at night.

100% rubbish, very poor quality
Bought from Motionperformance - Waxacar.Lenses are made of a cheap plastic - prone to scratching (It's not glass = it's a lie). In fact the pair I received already had several scratches.Design is not as on photo. Actual glasses are huge. I have a big head but this pair is too large even for me.They smell, no joke, like they were submerged in this sort of oil used for packing metal hand tools. The free Protective Pouch is made of crude material which would scratch the lenses even more and also soaked in the smelly oil.Delivery took over 3 months. As per the Night Vision - this novelty in fact works. I am amazed how everything looks clearer and brighter.I will return this pair due to it's poor quality and purchase a proper set.

Well made glasses - improve visibility markedly
I've bought these glasses for my husband and he loves them. They don't cut out the glare completely, but instead 'convert' the bright lights to softer yellow ones which much improves visibility. They don't only work at night. My husband also wears them on very dull and rainy days and even then they improve visibility markedly. They are well made and stay on the nose without sliding down. They are comfortable to wear also. I wouldn't recommend to try and wear them over prescription glasses, as there isn't a lot of space between them and your face when wearing them.I would definitely recommend this product.

Does the job pretty good
Had a pair of these about 20 years ago when driving 25K a year and a lot of that at night, they made a big difference, but even then more than tripple the price of these, and yes they were glass, not plastic, which does seem to make a difference. For the last year I've been regularly driving 1 evening a week, which at this time of means night driving. Been thinking of getting a new pair and took a punt at these as a very good price. Ordered them from a 'fullfilled by Amazon' seller as more trust then that they would be as described and not plastic, plus I'm a Prime member so like the delivery reliability. They arrived on time and packed well, and as expected were glass. They were a different style from the pictures having a lens about half the size and more rectangular than round. Particularly at dusk and dawn they work well, not as good as my last pair at night for just driving and seeing the road, but they do make a noticable difference on headlight glare.I can't give them 5 stars knowing there are better ones out there for viewing the road at night, and while certainly more stylish with thinner shaped lenses, it doesn't give 100% coverage for eye movement and that's more important than style considering intended use. But for the price and infrequent use I need them for, there would be no question of my ordering them again if I needed a new pair. I found my last journey to be easier to drive, easier to deal with oncoming traffic, and consequently felt less tired 5 hours later when I finished my journey, with a big difference on how tired my eyes felt.So to sum up, while not the best and I wouldn't reccomend for somebody driving at night all the time for long journeys, for occasional users on long journeys and regular short journeys I would reccomend the pair I received from a 'fullfilled by Amazon' seller as a value for money solution to night driving problems.Just be careful who you buy from as having tried plastic lens versions befeore and been dissapointed, if that was what I had received I would have been sending back and with this being a generic listing there will be a wide range of types and styles based of seller.

Effectiveness
I drive buses and coaches professionally and night vision on back roads, in inclement weather, and with dazzle from other vehicles, can be a real problem. You don't want to miss seeing a cyclist - or miss seeing anything really - (although these new LED cycle lights are bloody marvellous..!). But these glasses didn't have any good effect for me at all. All they do - as far as I can see - is turn everything yellow. I couldn't see any benefit with them at all. I checked with my optician and she said that such glasses just don't work. You can't create MORE light, and any sort of filter (whatever colour) simply reduces the light going into your eye. That doesn't help at night does it? I wondered if they were polarised (as all sunglasses for driving should be) but they aren't, and - again - my optician said: "Polarised glasses only come with a tint. You can't get clear ones. So even if they were polarised you'd still have the tint reducing the light; and that would be a double-whammy, because polarisation is like looking through railings. It only allows the straight light rays through and cuts out the scattered ones. So, again, it reduces the light coming into your eye. Why would you want to reduce the light you get coming into your eyes whilst driving a vehicle at night?" I think she's right. I wouldn't bother with these glasses myself.
