I want to store two very expensive bikes** A: The box has a minuscule amount of plain old deterrent with a padlock - i.e. it would stop a kid coming in, opening the box and nicking the bike(s). A thief on the other hand would break the plastic bolt and be in in no time - a strong padlock on a plastic bolt! laughable. What you really need to be covered by insurance is the bikes secured inside to "Sold Secure" standard of which there are various levels (Gold, Silver, Bronze) see: google. But that alone is not enough for insurance as you are not securing the bike to anything. For that you'll need something in the ground or wall surrounded by concrete preferably and poking or chained to through the box. see: google Without that you won't be insured. And if you are wondering the same applies in your garage (all policies are different of course). **Q: £520.00 + £25 delivery... is it a joke or mistake?** A: Yes, its ridiculous. As plastic is cheaper, lighter and simpler to mass produce than wood or steel these should be far cheaper. The other I've added shelving inside to hold boxes of item in it to make the most of the storage space ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but not up to usual Keter standard *by J***D on 15 August 2019* I received the product on time and had no delivery damage problems that others have encountered. Working on my own with a manual screwdriver, it took about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were clear if you are used to following pictogram style assembly diagrams. The finished product is stable and waterproof. The hydraulics for raising and lowering the lid are excellent. In most respects the storage unit is doing what I wanted it for. So why only 4 stars? As noted by others, you can't get an adult bike in without turning the front wheel. I am very disappointed that the latch to keep the doors closed is so flimsy and because the sides can lean out a little at the front, the latch does not align fully to allow a padlock to be easily used. The "give" at the front also means one door will not stay open but swings closed on its own accord. There are also plugs provided to cover pre-drilled holes (that are not even required) and these fall out easily. None of these issues prevent me using the unit. It is also possible that I have made an error in assembly. But I followed the instructions to the letter and don't see any way of making adjustments to correct the problems I have. I have other Keter products and have never had problems with any of them before.
